The evening will be dedicated to discovering the local cuisine, with a welcome dinner in a restaurant located in the medieval village of Campiglia Marittima. Characterized by narrow cobbled streets and ancient walls, this place is an authentic example of Tuscan tradition. During dinner, you can taste dishes prepared with local ingredients and accompanied by local wines, immersing yourself in the gastronomic culture of the Etruscan Coast.

Saturday: a journey into the underground world

The day begins with a breakfast of local products, ideal for starting your journey to the San Silvestro Archaeological Mining Park. This site will allow you to learn more about the mining history of the area, with an itinerary that crosses the Temperino Mine. Walking through the tunnels dug by the Etruscans, you can observe the colors and shapes of minerals such as copper, lead, silver, and zinc, and learn about the extraction techniques used in the past.

The journey then continues aboard a mining train that retraces the route taken by the minerals to the processing plants in the Valle dei Lanzi. During the journey, the most recent mining processes will be illustrated, accompanied by the characteristic sound of the train crossing the landscape. In the afternoon, children aged 6 to 12 can have fun at the Bike Skill Park, a safe course equipped with curves, obstacles, and ramps. The activity will be supervised by expert instructors, who will provide the necessary equipment and ensure an engaging experience for the little ones.

Sunday: discovering the wonders of Baratti

The last day is dedicated to the Gulf of Baratti. After a good night’s sleep, you can take part in a sailing or motorboat excursion, guided by an instructor who will accompany you on a journey of discovery through the area. During the trip, you will have the opportunity to admire the beaches, crystal clear waters, and panoramic views that characterize this area.
