The beaches of San Vincenzo

La Conchiglia

Shallow, clear and child-friendly waters and very fine sand. La Conchiglia, one of the most attractive stretches of coastline in the area, is especially suitable for families who choose this part of the coast to fully experience its beauty. There is a beach establishment with facilities, bar and restaurant, as well as hotels overlooking the sea and many free stretches of beach. A gangway facilitates access for the disabled and, during the bathing season, lifeguard towers are active along the coast to protect swimmers who wish to enjoy this splendid part of the Etruscan Coast.

Beach in the centre of San Vincenzo

This stretch of beach, featuring pale, very fine sand, extends north and south of the tourist port. A lovely beach, a few steps from the town centre, completes the picture that makes this part of the coast an ideal destination for families with small children. There are free sections and beach establishments. The lifeguard towers, operational during the season, guarantee the safety of all visitors and there are access points for the disabled.

La Principessa

La Principessa beach is located about one kilometre from the town centre, in the immediate vicinity of the beautiful Rimigliano Park. A stretch of coastline with fine golden sand, beach establishments and a free beach. The sea is blue and the seabed is a fascinating experience to discover. This part of the coast also has lifeguard towers, which are operational during the bathing season.

Dog Beach

Pale sand, wide spaces and free access for our four-legged friends. Here, dogs and their owners can enjoy the beach establishment’s dedicated facilities. The stretches of free beach are adjacent to part of the forest, where you can enjoy walks in the shade in the company of four-legged friends. A little further south lies the Rimigliano Park, which has an abundance of Mediterranean vegetation and is also accessible to dogs.

Rimigliano beach

Juniper, lily, myrtle and mastic flourish on the sand dunes that keep company with this enchanting beach, adjacent to the Rimigliano Park. Walking along the paths leading from the entrances along the Via della Principessa and crossing through the Mediterranean wood, you get your first glimpse of this beautiful stretch of coast. On this beach, albeit public, there are toilets, showers, a bar near entrance 4 and picnic tables. Its ideal climate means that, during the season, Caretta Caretta turtles and the small Charadrius alexandrinus shorebird nest there. Lifeguard towers are located along the entire beach and are operational during the bathing season. At the Green Beach in the park there is specific equipment for the disabled.

Nido dell’Aquila – nudist beach

On this part of the coast, characterised by clear blue waters and very fine sand, nudism is permitted. The beach is located between Rimigliano Park and Golfo di Baratti and access is free of charge.
