Le Forbici

Small bay characterised by a stony beach and crystal clear waters, this is one of the most characteristic features of our area, surrounded by the Mediterranean maquis and overlooking the most crystalline sea of the whole coast. There is a beach establishment respectfully integrated into the environment, where there are many facilities and a salt-water swimming pool overlooking the sea. Restaurant and reserved parking.

Quercetano

This is the best-known and most celebrated beach in Castiglioncello, surrounded by the Mediterranean maquis and the sumptuous villas of the Castiglioncello of the film, “Il Sorpasso”. The beach is sheltered and has both fine sand and rocks. Free beaches alternate with equipped establishments offering facilities, including restaurant services.

Caletta

Low beach, alternating rocky stretches with sandy beaches and extends between Castiglioncello and Rosignano Solvay. Easily accessible from the pedestrian promenade, partly free and partly occupied by beach establishments, this beach is suitable for both families and young people, who have made it a destination for aperitifs and after dinner drinks in the many bars overlooking the beach.

Lungomare Monte alla Rena

Beach, partly sandy and partly rocky, extending to the edge of the town of Rosignano. Characterised by numerous bars, restaurants and attractions, it is a meeting place for young people and families. Here too you can choose between free and equipped beaches.

Lillatro

The beach alternates rocky stretches with white sand, bordered by dunes with low vegetation and characterised by shallow waters. Equipped with a bar/restaurant, it is home to the ‘Il Lillatro’ club, a centre for surfing, kite surfing and a venue for sporting and entertainment events. A short distance away, the Bau Beach allows you to spend a day at the beach with our four-legged friends.

White Beaches

Fine white sand beach (records of the place name PietraBianca date back to 1600). Almost entirely free, the beach extends for over 4 km between Rosignano Solvay and Vada. Near Vada there is a Punto Azzurro beach equipped with bathing facilities. An ideal destination for those who enjoy water sports, it is a paradise for surfers and home to sailing and kite surfing centres.

Vada beach

Beach of pale fine sand with very shallow water that allows easy access to the sea and safe bathing, especially suitable for families with children. Surrounded by a large pine forest and bordered by a pedestrian and cycle path, numerous beach establishments alternate with public beaches and small businesses. An evocative landscape that encloses significant archaeological and historical evidence from different periods as well as precious aspects of terrestrial and marine biodiversity.

La Mazzanta

This dark-coloured sandy beach can be reached on foot through a large pine forest equipped with picnic and children’s play facilities. On this stretch of coast there are numerous campsites with a variety of services and beach establishments that alternate with the wide sections of free beach.
